Common Questions

What is the difference between iMax Premier and iMax Classic?
Both are Hyundai iMax 8-seat people movers — same model, same comfort, same seating. The Premier is the newer of the two and priced slightly higher. The Classic is our best-value option. Both are regularly serviced, cleaned, and fully fuelled before every hire.
What licence do I need to drive an 8-seat people mover?
A standard full Australian driver's licence is all you need — no special licence required for an 8-seat vehicle. You must be 21 or older and hold a full licence (no provisional or learner licences accepted).
How does the bond work?
We place a $500 pre-authorisation on your credit or debit card at pickup. This is not a charge — it's a temporary hold. Once the van is returned in good condition and on time, we release the hold within 24 hours. The money never leaves your account unless damage occurs.
How many kilometres are included?
200 kilometres are included per hire day. Excess kilometres are charged at 30 cents per km. For most Perth metro trips, airport runs, and winery day trips 200km is more than enough. Heading to Margaret River or further? Call us to discuss a higher km allowance for your trip.
Can I book for a wedding or special event?
Absolutely — weddings and events are one of our most popular use cases. We recommend booking well in advance for Friday and Saturday dates as availability fills quickly. Contact us for specific requirements and we will do everything we can to make the day smooth.
What is your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup — full deposit refunded. Cancellations within 24 hours forfeit the deposit. No-shows are charged the full hire amount. The earlier you cancel the better for everyone.
Can I take the van to Margaret River or regional WA?
Yes — you can drive anywhere in WA. Just factor in the extra kilometres. Our standard rate includes 200km/day. For multi-day regional trips we recommend calling us to set up an appropriate km package so there are no surprises on return.
